Changes in the selection/captaincy: Is India expected to make the right move?

come on guys!!Kaif is not even a regular in the side...2 bad performances and his place is in doubt..u gotta look at a crowd favourite and aggressive player like sehwag..infact apart from sourav,i think he is the only person capable of leading the team..
i wud have considred Laxman as an ideal test captain a coupla years back..he resembles Azhar a lot u know...

Kaif has previous experience of captaincy at international level (Under-19 World Cup is also international)! Good performance or bad performance, he has been consistently picked in the ODI side. He and Yuvraj have been regulars to the ODI squad. Yuvraj cant be made captain (if made, he would be similar to Saurav who is more of sheer aggression than technical brilliance!). We right now need more of technical brilliance than sheer aggression!

yes you're right - Laxman would have been a very good captain for the tests. But now he is also quite old. Why not give the captaincy to Irfan? Remember how Wasim led the squad, was an equally great bowler and a handy batsman lower down the order? I am sure Irfan can take up these responsibilities!

Pathan can be the next wasim akram but it will require atleast another 5 years

Dravid should be the capitian for the test and M. Kaif should be for ODI. M. Kaif have won the U-19 world cup, while he was the captian for it. He needs an opportunity to prove himself
