Two players that have impressed me a lot in recent time from Russia are Igor Akinfeev and Alan Dzagoev. They are both below 24 and should be playing for some top European side.

Yes, I have grown up watching them all. Fixtures hurt most of them. Lots of players in the country are not available at this time and it is even bigger problem than injury. Though recently lots of clubs have started to give UEFA more importance and gained some believe that they can beat some big European clubs. Lokomotiv had very critical year in 2007-08 in terms of finance and they lost couple of big players.

Liverpool and Barcelona could both go out tonight which would be...well...weird, not that I care. Stuttgart too, although I expect them to beat Rangers really.

Liverfool is out :happy Barcelona was also on the verge of same result but they played class tonight. I thought Inters defence is one of the best in Europe atm

Inter were outplayed. They never got into any sort of rhythm. I reckon they'll still qualify though after beating Rubin Kazan.

Bayern are through and they deserves it more than us. We were totally crap for the whole 90 mins. Bayern were attacking continously and we hardly got any time for possesion. Now kick those idiots of the team, first the Manager and then the most highly overrated goalie Gigi Buffon. Sell him to City and get a huge money and invest in some other players.

Bayern bossed the midfield, and their defence was hardly tested really except for Trezeguet's goal. Strange, beat Inter at the weekend and then lose to Bayern a few days later and you want Ferrara out. You can't blame it all on Buffon either, he's been carrying an injury for a month or so and I think it was said he's being operated on tomorrow.

Juve are rubbish and have been for some time; serves them right for celebrating like that after scoring a mere 19mins into the game! Never mind, you've still got Chelski and Barca on your little list...
Yet we still won and won convincingly. What a result - I would happily have taken a draw before that game.
Fantastic stuff. Obertan is beginning to look like a great buy - every time I've seen him he's done something impressive. That bit of play tonight to set up one of Owen's goals was sublime. Speaking of Owen, that was one heck of a hat-trick. I was most pleased with the last goal - he had to run at the keeper, he had to think about the finish, it wasn't the sort of instinctive finish he's usually scored from this season. He hasn't been strong in one-on-ones, but that last goal was beautiful.

What a game it was against the German Champions. They were completely tamed by the English at their own backyard. Owen was brilliant and surely this hatrick will see him playing in the World Cup. Obertan he has been a great buy for just 3m pounds.

Inter, Madrid and Manchetser United are the clubs i will never going support. Mabe i will go for inter when they will face United or Madird, else no chance.
Errm...maybe because he's one of the best keepers in the world and twice the player that Manninger is.
And you'd support Juve's biggest rivals if they played against United or Madrid, who aren't Juve's rivals. :laugh
