Massive shame for Jaiswal. Might be a very late start to a possibly promising odi career , and who knows where he will be in 2027

There is a written clause in the contract of these players which says you have to be an active Indian international and lot of brand endorsement are associated with it it which is of lacs atleast if not crores.

Very likely the reason both are delaying it. There would also be external pressure to keep going as a lot of dough is riding on it behind the scenes.
