Well he is the senior member of the team and a local with the experience of bowling here often than Rabada and others so he should have tried a few things but he looked clueless today. Hopefully he comes back stronger.

The scary thing for GT fans is that bowling is their stronger suit and if that is going like this, I guess we are a strong contender for the wooden spoon.

When Rashid Khan who is actually the main strike bowler goes for 12 an over you're doomed to have a bad day.

I think it is high time the crowd understand that the old horse cannot play. MSD isn't doing anyone any favours by still hogging a spot in the lineup.

One might compare his long stay with Faf, Zak, Other players who retired from the game. However,being very fair and Frank, MSD doesn't have it anymore to come in and smash those runs.

Winning should be the main aim,even if it is an IPL game.

Agreed with Siraj needs to better given his experience.

It's probably the pessimistic in me but I feel Rashid have lost that venom in his bowling a bit. He wasn't as successful in the last season too as we are used to seeing him. Barring the last game, it seems that the teams have resorted to playing him out and attack other bowlers which is a very sensible thing to do.

Perhaps GT can emulate something what we saw first in BBL first with Narine - to pick him as a conserving (can't remember the correct word) spinner while giving him the license with the bat to go full monty at the top and make full use of fielding restrictions. Pick an attacking spinner for the main role.

This would be much better for the team as we would still have the big hitters left to come in the last few overs. GT is already thin in the batting. This move could potentially revolutionize their fate. This is where Jayant Yadav or Washington might not fit in because they are not really attacking bowlers which would be required to go in tandem with Rashid the miser.

Rajasthan Royals used to be a team that used to perform with lesser known and young players especially the inaugural edition and few seasons after that up untill 2016.

Sawai Man Singh stadium used to be their fortress remember they had a record or something they defended every single whenever they scored more than 140 in that venue.

Someone like a Siddharth Tridevi comes to my mind in defending those low scores.
