The One Day Bands Draft

Okay we are so back

For my first pick I will go for the experience again and fill my 20% Band with a legendary fast bowler

Dennis Lillee will bolster my bowling attack with 103 ODI wickets in 63 matches at an average of 20.8, he was a beast of his era. But still did not play enough to cut the first band.

Second Pick to balance out we're back with the inexperienced ones and I'll look to fill my 60% Band with one of the most hard hitting players of today's era

Tristan Stubbs averages 35 in ODIs in 9 innings but he also averages 44 in List A batting in the middle-order, and he strikes at 90 and is a known hard-hitter who has a pretty damn high ceiling for the future.

For the pick I owe I'm gonna take :saf: Hashim Amla

and for the second pick I'm gonna pick his countryman, :saf: Aiden Markram, mainly to annoy a section of the draft

:aus: :ar: Gary Gilmour (5-7 ODI band)

42 runs @ 42.00 (SR: 107.69, best 28*) and 16 wickets @ 10.31 (econ 3.09, 2 5WI, best 6/14) in 5 ODIs
182 runs @ 14.00 (best 44) and 29 wickets @ 22.34 (econ: 3.71, 2 5WI, best 6/14) in 19 List A matches

Coming in at 7 for me will be a left-armer and big hitter who was born 30 years too soon to make bank on the T20 circuit. His batting was good enough to biff a Test century and maintain a first-class average of 30, and his bowling was good enough to define an entire World Cup. It was terribly unfortunate that his body couldn't stand up to the rigours of Test and first-class cricket, and that misfortune only continued for his remaining 34 years.

@Yash.

Hi i'm no longer on holiday. Pick from me tonight or tmw

My picks are so spaced out every time I pick in the draft I feel like I'm a different person

Ok.

To everyone else, sorry about the delay - I went on holiday and totally forgot to inform anyone.

I’ll choose my solitary ODI capped player in Kim Barnett. He’s just a solid county pro who was just unfortunate with selection and the era. An FC average of 40 and LA of 34 is solid enough and 84 in his only ODI.
