i was on 99, i went for a drive and missed it (off a spinner). stood around for a bit pushing circle to get back in my ground but he would just stay there. then the keeper took the bails off and i was out stumped. I was so gutted I turned it off then and there.

you might want to try invert the batting controls, somewhere in the options. It all depends on what camera you are using as well. I find sometimes i want to cut and it drives, I think its just where you are putting the controller, if you miss the direction it is just a totally different shot...

noticed this too, as well as the 3 fielders behind square on the leg side (and one just in front of square) Its like the AI doesnt take into account the field restrictions. Hopefully this if fixed in a later patch, but I could be dreaming.

My first play so far, bowling is much different (harder) though I am still not the greatest bowler anyway. My (new) career player bowling just seams harder and I am not taking 3-4 wickets an innings. Much better. Yet to bat. Id still like to see how many overs I have bowled on the ticker bar...

That wasn't the point of my post. It is actually the first slip catch that I have seen, and i have only had 2 or 3 days of not playing it since I got the game (5th April) Plus I was just playing with the cameras. I am hoping for the career patch to come out soon so I can restart my career...

Just thought I would post my proof that slip catching exists. its in the game its just few and far between. This was my 18 year old career player batting, he still isn't very good but hopefully he will get there eventually.

They are small issues, and I am still loving the game. We should gave a game soon, see how many run outs we can get :)

i would also say don't give up on your pace, but also when you are starting out just warm up first. get your accuracy in and practice. For helping with your accuracy in the nets i would start by bowling in the nets with some boots at the other end, just so you know where the batsman starts...
