Definitely worth a read although it is not agreeable in all places, such as Ponting being placed below Sangakkara and Gilchrist. A very good set of articles and one that will generate a lot of debates on here.

Forgot to point out that Mike Hussey hasn't even been named in the top 100 or honourable mentions, which is a farce. The best Australian batsman since the 1990s, second only to Ponting. An incredible cricketer who would've hit 15000+ in test cricket had he debuted earlier.

Putting aside the sarcasm do you agree with Sachin at 5? If not what place you'd slot him in?

Tendulkar, Ponting, McGrath too low (only to mention a few). Hussey definitely deserves to be there!
