10th Match: England vs New Zealand at Jo'Burg

Hopefully we can pick up one or two more wickets early on, we really should with how this pitch is behaving.

Oh dear. This looks to be a win the toss win the match pitch just like our game against Sri Lanka.

Great to see some bowling pitches around though. They make ODI's more interesting and if you score runs on these wickets they're really deserved runs.

Pitch looks pretty menacing. Wasn't this the pitch we beat sri lanka on? I take it we were put into bat?

Unlucky Joe Denly, couldn't do much with that ball. It's the start we needed though, would really like to get Collingwood early though. This pitch would probably suit his style of play.

Yea agree. Although some boards are already kicking up a stink about the pitches.

Morgan to the rescue, but in all honesty, who cares we're already through. :banana2

What was Shah thinking their, we'll take it though :D

Btw Bond has almost got his average down under 20 again.

And that gets on my nerves. Just imagine how boring this tournament would be if all the pitches were tailor made for batsmen and scores of 300+ everytime? It's about time we saw a few contests that favoured bowling sides.

As for England, we really need to make 180 minimum just to have something to defend. We saw in the Sri Lanka game that the pitch does ease off.

I care!

I want to beat New Zealand. They're a bit of a bogey team for us.

Tbh I actually like seeing the odd low scoring game. We played you guys in England last year defending 180 odd iirc, best ODI game I've seen in a long time.
