Great win for Punjab and somehow they deserved it. I think this will be good booster for them and Bopara was simply awesome. He scored all those run without crazy slogging. That was nearly a perfect inning that a batsman with immense class can play in T20.

Just what was expected, both teams had weak bowling but Banglore were weaker and it showed in the end. I don't think Steyn would have made any difference for he is only good in test matches. Banglore really need to try other players now - Roelof van der Merwe should replace Kallis and Mark Boucher should come in for Ross Taylor. I know that both Kallis and Ross made runs today but Kallis evened up in the bowling and Ross didn't go on to finish the innings.

Great win for Punjab. It gets them their first pionts of the season. As Dan said, RV and UV played well. Ravi Bopara played a magical innings. Also bowling was the weak link in both the innings and as Sidharth said, Bangalore were weaker.

Bangalore really need to get their line-up sorted. Constantly changing and mixing up combinations desperately trying to find a win. Steyn has to play the next game, with Taylor dropping out, even if he made a few runs today. Managed to beat Rajasthan but since then it's been majorly downhill. Kumble's struggled to pick up wickets, Pietersen's failed with the bat, and they've just not put partnerships together when batting. Very disappointing, was hoping KP's side would do better.

What a good innings from Ravi Bopara, I've heard alot about this guy and today he showed me what he is about in 20/20 cricket. When he was in New Zealand last year he was batting in the lower-middle order and he would get stuck very quickly. It looks like he might of found the right place in the batting order to use his skills the best. England have finally found a decent ODI opener, lets just hope they give him time and a stable partner.
