Looks like they will settle for a score of 170+. CSK is really looking the best side of tournament, despite my hate for them in IPL, I'm loving them here because they are carrying India something that I expected from the bastard Indians of Mumbai.

Chennai have made it tough for themselves here with the consistent loss of wickets. 160 here would be decent but I doubt they will get there. They are playing an Australian side, so it wont be easy defending as it has been for them so far.

Edit: 162 is a decent score. I thought they almost wont make it there. And the theme of the CLT20, is that by AR Rahman? Sounds like his voice. The "O Ho La O Ho La O...." music! Its awesome.

They could have added another 20 runs, but the slow balls really doing a trick. This is a good sign because we have them to do the trick - Balaji & Kemp. Like Doull was mentioning, " if you vary the pace, you are likely to get a reward else, get smashed! "

Yes it was ARR's theme made for the previous CL & they are using the same for this year too.

Hmm. 162. I think it's an okay score, but if they bowl poorly or fail to take wickets, it could be very chaseable.

Consider the pacing of the innings.
1st 5: 0/25
2nd 5: 1/47
3rd 5: 1/44
4th 5: 4/46

It's imperative for CSK that Victoria do not get a better start than that, but there also was not much acceleration once the innings got going. They got a good clip, but maybe there are more runs out there.

Chennai look like dead meat today unless they pick up quick wickets here. Victoria could win this in 12-13 overs.

Superb 2nd over from Ashwin! After the six off the first ball, bowled superbly. Took a very good catch. In the end, he brought some sanity to the proceedings. Excellent.

Damn! Dhoni, remove Bollinger. The pace is easy pickings for Victoria. Oh well, I was wrong! Doug clears up Brad odge!

Murali is trying to slow down Victoria's charge. But the other bowlers at the other end are easing things up for them. Cant see CSK winning this without wickets.

the slow pace hasn't clicked like theirs or in other words - We failed to be smart while bowling. Spinners have not done bad though. Match has gone out of CSK's hands unless quick wickets go in next 2-3 overs.
