12th Match, Group A - Central Districts v Warriors @ Port Elizabeth

Noema Barnett up the order. This could be brilliant, or awful.

Skippy out to blatant chucking tbh.

This guy's a bigger chucker than Murili

Hopefully How can just stick in there for the full innings like in the last game

How good is how?? Get him in the blackCaps

Dam! When did How become so good in T20, last time I checked he was scoring at a test match run rate. Now hes taking apart one of the star bowlers of this tournament.

The CDs look like getting a great score through How, but the real question is how they defend it. We've seen in this tournament so far, only one side has been comprehensively smashed in the first innings. Defending of the total has been key in most matches, with several sides simply making too many mistakes after getting enough runs.

Victoria looked short of at least one slow bowler in their match at St Georges, while Wayamba's pacemen were innocuous compared to their slowmen Herath and Mendis. Both Boje and Botha tonight suggest that the Stags are a bit heavy on the seamers.

Central Districts scored 175-3. That could turn out to be a match winning total.

How deserves an IPL contract based on this form.

Davey Jones on fire yet again ! I'd say the Warriors captain deserves an IPL contract...
I have a feeling that the Warriors will see this one through yet again.

Yeah I was always worried that these young bowlers would just get slaughtered. Another big difference apart from the inexperience of the CD bowlers is the lack of a quality spinner. Although CD go off to a good start, the spinners pulled them back through the middle. CD don't have that option of a quality spinner.

Sad for CD as they put up a good total but the lack of inexperience in their bowling really hurting them. Their two best bowlers in the HRV cup (oram and napier) aren't even there

Oram and Napier would've added so much experience to the bowling lineup, and both of them are very economical bowlers as well. Warriors are racing away with it now.

How and Noema-Barnett batted very well though, seeing out the spinners, then taking it out on the pace bowlers.

How's now the second highest run-scorer, and the highest four hitter in the tournament. He looks in great form at the moment, and it could bring him back in the reckoning for international selection. Too bad that none of these batsmen every do well in the longer stuff.

oh and Weston doesn't look very good behind the stumps.
