Terrible News for England

A training match two days before the World Cup Final turned into disaster for England, as a badly timed challenge by Micah Richards left Wayne Rooney with a bruised ankle and no chance of playing. Nick Freestone told reporters that he was "upset for the team and for the player" but could still see England winning without him. "It's a great opportunity for Darren Bent, who played well in the Quarter-Final. We have great team spirit and I believe that we have what it takes to overcome Brazil."

Ronney is a Key player for England and England gonna miss him..
Great going..
Keep Up The Great Work.

The game has been played, the sound and video have been cut. I'll upload it tonight when I get in (I'm in school now), around 9:30pm.

Final: England v Brazil

They have come so far, can they go one better and emulate the team of 1966? Only Brazil stand in their way...

Video Highlights

Nick Freestone's Comments:

"I'm a very happy man, all the players have been exceptional in this tournament and I believe we deserved to win. They'll be loving it back home and we're loving it here - World Cup Winners!"

The FA agreed to give Freestone a two year contract to get the team to Euro 2008 which he accepted immediately. After a summer's break the team will be back to face Greece on 24th August.

Brazilia were given a right thumping. Good on Bent for his hat-trick. Great job mate :)

So where does the story go from here?

Great Finish and it has been truly pleasure to follow your story.
Great work.Keep The Good Work.:)

Thanks all for the kind comments. This story will be at the bottom of the list of my priorities for a while with GCSEs looming and all kinds of concerts as well, hence the summer break. I'll try to get a couple of friendlies played before my exams finish though, and then it's full steam ahead... :)

Ya Study>Story..:D
Best of luck for exams. And Keep Up the great work.
