Chennai can confirm that they have signed two Australian bowlers from Western Australia. They have signed Ben Edmondson, a 29-year-old medium paced bowler. They have also signed Matthew Inness a 30-year-old left arm medium pacer.

Chennai Superkings have also confirmed that they have approached Kings XI Punjab about Yuvraj Singh. They have not confirmed whether they have made a bid for the Punjab captain.

Mumbai Champs could be expelled from the tournament if they are found guilty of match-fixing. The charge relates to an incident during their ICL match against the Hyderabad Heroes. The Heroes have already been found guilty of match-fixing after a hearing last week.

Inzamam-ul-Haq has left Hyderabad Heroes and he will play for Lahore Badshads in the Champions League. Inzamam played for Yorkshire last year and he says that he is looking forward to facing his old club.

Younis Khan has dismissed reports that he will go back to Yorkshire. Younis played for Carnegie last season, however he had to leave early to join up with the Pakistan squad in South Africa for the ICC World Twenty20.

KINGS XI GIVE UP
Kings XI Punjab have given up hope of keeping their instrumental captain Yuvraj Singh. Kings XI released a statement on their website today saying "We can confirm the Chennai Super Kings have approached us about our captain Yuvraj Singh. Discussions have been going on throughout the day and we can confirm that we have agreed a deal to sell Yuvraj to Chennai. We expect this deal to be completed throughout the next two days. We would like to thank Yuvraj for all he has done for Kings XI Punjab"

ICL club Mumbai Champs have escaped being thrown out of the Champions League. The club had been charged over match-fixing allegations during a match against the Hyderabad Heroes. The Champs have been fined an undisclosed fee and will be docked five points at the start of the next ICL season.
