Morgs need to give it some welly or go back to the shed. Get Mo and Livingstone in.
Shaheen's bowling didn’t have much to do with the conditions.
Hey guys, what do you think can Afghanistan beat India and do an upset? I would say its 50-50 considering Indian team body language, however India is favorite for sure to win that game because a big team can bounce back anytime. Would be interesting to see a contest between Rashid Khan vs VK and Mujeeb vs VK and Sharma

And now ChameeraThat was pathetic captaincy by Shanaka to give Karunaratne an over after Theekshana had finished his spell. Why the hell would you hold back your best bowler, Hasaranga, right when England are under extreme pressure, and he could strike the final blow? That over allowed Buttler to turn around his innings.

And now bowling himself ahead of Hasaranga

Imagine if Shaheen had bowled to India in the 2nd innings after Pakistan batted first. He wouldn't likely have caused the same kind of damage. Dew changes everything, including the traction of swing. Maybe he could still have picked up the same no of wickets that he did, but India would've still won the game as they would've restricted Pakistan to a chaseable score and the dew gives them confidence to play their shots freely. We're seeing teams make a score and the chasing team wins it with many many overs to spare.
If Afghanistan win the toss and bowl first definitely an upset on the cards. Its imperative they dont choose to bat first (like what Nabi did against Pakistan and paid the price). They could've beaten Pakistan had they bowled first. The only time the "bat first" works is when you're playing a team like Scotland or Namibia.

Yet he was getting some swing and movement off the pitch early on, which the Indian bowlers didn't get either in the second innings. He bowled two excellent balls to get the openers yes, but I kind of see Sai's point. Even in the NZ game yesterday, it looked like NZ were batting on a different pitch altogether and it does look like dew has its impact. And even in the game today, England's batting lineup struggled big time batting in the first ten overs which only that first and second innings difference more evident. Although they've been helped out now by Kumara's freebies and poor captaincy by Shanaka to be set for 160+ now.Shaheen's bowling didn’t have much to do with the conditions.
Bumrah reiterated this point of dew yesterday. Definitely winning the toss is a huge huge advantage.
