Something like we have in the UEFA CL, I discussed it with my friend sounds a good idea if implemented properly. To be honest - bending the knee in general is a big issue in SA sports. The Springboks (SA National Rugby team) were highly criticized for doing it by the South African public, so much so that the fans stopped supporting them and publicly scorned their national heroes for doing so (World Cup winners) not to mention when the Proteas did it first.
Personally I'd like to see a armband or logo on jerseys in support to the BLM campaign rather than bending the knee (which obviously is too controversial in SA sports). This will still send the message out in support of BLM , but wouldn't put players (Rugby, cricket etc.) at risk of being ostracize by the general public.
Back to the cricket.... Gutted not to have Ali in my fantasy cricket team. Initially had him, but replaced him with Russell.
