You gotta be kidding me! You really believe in these ' Pak has never lost on Babar's birthday' stuff? On a more realistic note, Ahmedabad and Navratri is a tough combination to navigate. The police and Z security (which will be accorded to Pakistan) will have a tough time on hands. It is similar to having a match near Mecca duing the Haj pilgrimage- now imagine the logistics in such a scenario.

I am not bothered about the winning/losing, the only pointer that surprises us Indians is that the ICC/BCCI didnt fully consider these elements before coming up with the schedule.

Several Full Member countries have written in requesting to change two or three dates in the schedule. We are working out with the ICC, and we should be able to clear it in two or three days.

Sri Lanka to play all matches in Chennai, because flights from Chennai to Colombo will be shorter. They must have requested this owing to the long journey they may have to undertake from Delhi/Mumbai

Australia will play their matches based on the majority of cities their IPL stars belong to

Netherlands won't be allowed to play in Orange cause the ruling party's color is Orange

They will not allow England to play because of the colonial past, Pakistan because of obvious concerns, Bangladesh because they were afterall East Pakistan once upon a time.

And I almost forgot the issues with the Customs department regarding the World Cup trophy itself. They won't be able to present the one in the ICC Office and will instead present the replica like they did in 2011

I’m pretty sure @wasteyouryouth pointed out how England had a significantly shorter rest period for their match vs India for instance whilst the latter had more of it. I’m amazed that the organisers never thought of it while cooking up a schedule that was already unveiled very late.
