Well jinx aside, lets talk about the elephant in the room shall we?

I know I had mentioned Pak in top 4 for me but it was only so I dont see myself disappointed when we would have lost this match. Now that is almost out of the equation, I can feel a little relieved.

This Pakistan side is at best only a good T20 side as they only need 50% talent in that format. Come other format and their weaknesses are out in front.

The AbD fan guy thinks highly of this side when at best they are mediocre.

Imam and Shafique both are decent but not great.

Babar Azam is such a horrible captain who is a great player. Rizwan is goat . Iftti chacha is chacha, pretty good for his position.

Rest all are beyond mediocre including Shadab. I have no clue what they see in him.

On bowling, a land known for great bowlers absolutely has no great bowlers and Shaheen will and is not helping them. With T20, pressure is constant, in ODI’s its not so is in tests. So he becomes mediocre if he does not pick up wickets in his first few overs.

India, New Zealand, South Africa and England my top 4 after this game.

They're missing their best pacer (and bowler) along with at least a couple of blokes that would have replaced him. Beyond that... they've not made the best use of their resources. Shaheen doesn't appear to be fully fit, his pace hasn't been what it could or should be. I also think I underestimated how out of form the likes of Zaman, Shadab and arguably Rauf plus Nawaz are. If a couple of these blokes come into form I can see them pushing for a top four spot again though. I also feel they've not been fully motivated... perhaps this hostile crowd reception will fire them up for the future.

NZ have definitely been the surprise of the tournament so far. Ravindra's stepped up big time for them and filled a big gap in their side... he gives them a Williamson replacement and a sixth bowling option that also acts as the second spinner. I did have a lot of faith in South Africa's ability before the tournament and they've kept that up so far... still remains to be seen how they react under real pressure knowing the team's history. More than Pakistan, Bangladesh are the side that has disappointed me the most so far.

More than that, it’s key players losing form and fitness at the wrong time, due to mismanagement of workload and medical team incompetence. It’s structural and mentality issues more than talent issues, which is the most infuriating thing.

Thought he was referring to Kushal? Or is he talking about some new twitter personality I haven't yet seen on these forums?
Oh it was the wrong AbD :p
We call Shafique "ABD" as a joke on Twitter, because those are his name's first three letters :p
So I thought he was referring to F***d K**n because he’s an ABD fan

There's no way Say and his daddy were sitting amongst the general public which should tell everything about the crowd allocation for this game.

For Pakistan their defensive mindset has let them down as a batting unit.

I'm all for celebrating a win, especially one in the group stages against Pakistan but... the post game celebrations seem a tad too excessive.

Reminded me of the worst of our 2019 cycle batting. I'm glad we've moved on from that (at least for the moment).

Glad that Bumrah got the MoM award and not Rohit on the back of that hard hitting. Rohit's performance was exemplary but without Bumrah dismissing Rizwan and his powerplay spell earlier none of it would have been possible.

Rohit was brilliant in every department today
