We have weak link with this lineup.

The tail is bit too long after 6 down the last 4 are just numbered in Kuldeep, Shami, Bumrah and Siraj.

With no Pandya as an all rounder the balance seems to be a bit off.

And yeah Lord Thakur is no more but just a tail ender too, don't know what the management seems to see in him as batter let alone bowler.
Exactly! This is a very long long tail and who knows maybe these 5 runs will be a bit too much for them now!

It’s a risk we have to take it feels like. If a top five of those blokes can’t get things done I doubt a number eight is making a significant enough difference with the bat to merit the drop in bowling.

Props to Kohli though irrespective of that poor ending. He took the team till the end and did deserve the century but not at the expense of risking a loss.
Yes, it was him that carried the chase after he ran out Surya. Jadeja needed someone like him at the other end.

We need to do somthing of Iyer tbh. That guy has to contribute a substantial amount, these sweet looking 30s won't do us any good.

This game reminded me of 2011 WC QF match vs Australia.

Jadeja with Raina esque innings here.

Ferguson equal to Tait

See, personal glories- India has never been a team that has shown an inclination for this. The only exception I could see was SRT when he was getting closer to his 100 hundreds.

This CWC has thrown up 3 instances and I feel they should learn to put these behind them. Since we are now in he business end of the tournament,it makes sense to start focusing on the bigger picture here.

Can anyone explain the process of selecting the Man of the Match?I feel we give it out based on favourites. Shami bowled well, but I'd have gone for Kohli today.

Great to see Shami back with bang. Hardhik in place of Suriya is all we need.
