Just saying; blud's miscalculated again, just like when he left Nawaz to bowl the final over in Melbourne.

Mir's come on now, I expect at least 20 runs off the over.

That's 11 innings, 10 not outs, 215 runs at SR 149 last season.

Pakistan fans might be in for a surprise. Babar might emulate Kohli by bringing himself on. :Cheersmate:

Pakistan wouldn't mind that as long as it doesn't turn into a Gulbadin Naib sorta scenario (remember CWC2019?)

If they are smart and wanna win, they should send someone like Rashid Khan out after a wicket now and tell him to bat like he does in a T20 for Gujarat Titans.

I mean I get we want close finishes but those are more possible in shorter version of the game. With ODI's the chances are way too less of having a close finish. There is just wayyyy to much time for both teams. This is the reason we have had no close games. All games have had one or two moments and everyone has reacted and recovered well.
Yeah I get all that. Just be nice to have a match go to the last over or wicket.

The shorter version is more prone to it, cause you can get some one to simply go boom boom.

With ODI, despite having much time, I believe the tactics are largely influenced by T20. Hence, you see a lot of teams trying to maintain a steady rate despite the loss of wickets. The pace of the game doesn't really drop to a large extent, unless someone chases a personal agenda.

Kick out Usama mir, haris rauf, imam, shadab.
