Many parts? Ehh? October is usually known for the October heat that sets in prior to the cooler months of November and December.

Having stayed in 4 of the host cities, I can safely say that Mumbai, Pune Hyderabad, Lucknow and Bangalore aren't affected by monsoon at this time. From friends in Delhi and Calcutta I know that the monsoon is over.

If you are considering Chennai =many parts, then perhaps your assumption might be correct, as I've never stayed there. But then again,to call it as 'monsoon for many parts of the country' seems a tad far-fetched.
My sources say it rains in one of that city.

This post piqued my curiosity so I went and looked at the forecast. Other than Delhi all of the mentioned cities seem to have a chance of rain on at least one day in the upcoming week and Kolkata seems to have a strong chance of rain over the next week.

Cancel the world cup or move the world cup to USA if Say Jhah has the balls...

Oops.. as soon as I said that, it started raining here

Bangladesh are on track for a solid win.

Will be interesting to see if they emerge stronger from the recent public fiasco.

Shaheen and Shadab haven't bowled, but ominous signs for the other bowlers if Rachin Ravindra is smacking them. Hopefully they get a wake-up call

I’d be worried if Neesham also starts smashing them. Having both Ravindra and Neesham do the job is concerning.

This is the reason you never under estimate New Zealand in ICC events. They just somehow show up. Even though this is warmups but Australia and New Zealand are built different for things that actually matter.

Reiterating my top 4
  1. Australia
  2. New Zealand
  3. Pakistan
  4. India

Need Fakhar Zaman on such dead tracks
