While I have been harping about how the ODI’s are the worst format and this world cup should be the last world cup for ODI’s nobody cared about it.

Cricket cannot sustain with matches like these and teams like England are killing cricket. They randomly go in these spurs where they want to be the best one moment and dont care the next moment.

Once they and all other smaller teams start losing, what do they do? Have their weapons out by having journalists write how bad this format is, wc should die and all.

While I agree on that topic but find it funny.

England definitely are not in a zone this world cup and it shows. Not one good performance from them and their only win was against equally bad Bangladesh.

I think they are sorely missing Morgan and his style if leadership. England is back to their pre-2019 days. Tbh, had they not been awarded the last World Cup, people wouldn't have had high hopes from them.

2. How is that indicative of Pakistan when he's not even part of the board
3. Why tell him Morne's one of the fastest bowlers when Shoaib is THE fastest bowler
4. Of course Morne played more cricket than a guy with virtually no knees
5. Twice the respect? Get a grip man

You love bashing Akhtar, and he gives one ample ammo to do that. But at least be sensible with the criticism. Don't telegraph personal vitriol and disguise it as an opinion on his own bullshit statements.

Too old and comfortable maybe? The entire team today is north of 30.

Otherwise it's the usual 'I have no brain, I shall just swing' attitudes ~ When they lost three including the (stupid) run out from Root, they should have knuckled down and played boring cricket for 10-20 overs to get settled and build a platform to hit out in the later overs.

Instead they did the classic 'prod at a wide one' and 'drive a ball that should be cut' and just constantly gave themselves out cheaply.

The Rashid wicket just sums it up IMO. They just aren't switched on, have no plan or strategy and don't seem bothered.

On the bright side, for any reforms in England you need to play this crap because it becomes something of a scandal if they aren't seen to be doing something to fix it. You can rob the English blind, but don't poke their national pride, lol!
