Bangladesh have a dilemma. There's probably four or five guys who have played for years and done really well but should they be around in 2027? I'd argue they shouldn't be playing another ODI after this World Cup.

However, there ranking is precarious enough, that they'll have to keep arranging home series on Snake Pits to avoid going to a World Cup Qualifier.

Therefore developing a side of fresh faces might be prove difficult.

England's hubris has left them in a similar precarious position but I'd say we have at least identified players for the next World Cup and played them. We just didn't bother picking them for this one.
