And an effective wrist spinner, then why not Yasir Shah? He's a leading wicket-taker in PSL. Is in good form, and is a proven match-winner if He gets going.
He has zero variety. Just legbreaks.

I think this would make an interesting xi to say the least. I guess we can add Umar Akmal to that power-hitter's slot, only if He promises to not play a rash shot and throw his wicket away after scoring a few runs.

:bat: Fakhar Zaman
:bat: Hussain Talat
:bat: Babar Azam
:ar: Shoaib Malik^
:bat: INSERT A POWER-HITTER HERE
:bat: Sarfraz Ahmed†*
:ar: Imad Wasim^
:ar: Aamer Yamin^
:bwl: Mohammad Aamer^
:bwl: Sohail Khan^
:bwl: Rumman Raees^

Not too sure of Fakhar Zaman, he seems very hit and miss to me.

My XI would be:

1. Ahmed Shehzad (got the experience, and is showing a lot of class)
2. Hussain Talat/Fakhar Zaman (both seem pretty inexperienced)
3. Babar Azam (need him to play a lot faster than he currently plays)
4. Sarfaraz Ahmed (can't hit the big shots at the end)
5. Shoaib Malik/Umar Akmal
6. Aamer Yamin/ Another Power Hitter
7. Shadab Khan (impressed with his power, and his leg spin isn't half bad)
8. Imad Wasim
9. Rumman Raees
10. Sohail Khan
11. Mohammad Aamer.

It also shows that our pace bowling stocks are diminishing, which is very worrying. Here's what i said about that a while ago

The reason for our fast bowlers not being good is that our domestic circuit is not good enough. Ramiz Raja under Tauqeer Zia with unlimited powers (which come with dictatorship) changed the nature of pitches of domestic cricket.

When the wickets were flattish in the 70s, 80s and 90s we produced bowlers who can run through teams with reverse swing or extreme pace or spinners who had 3 types of googlies or doosras. Why did this happen? Because they couldn't get wickets with just bowling seam ups. They had to find different ways.

When wickets are green we have produced medium pacers who try to hit a length and the ball/pitch does the rest for them. When in international cricket this doesn't happen they struggle. From Wasim and Waqar we are down to Ehsan Adil and Imran Khan.

Similarly for batsmen, we had stroke players in plenty. Now we can have batsmen who look to survive long periods, play few shots, and wait for ball to get old, pitch to dry, spinners to come on. Azhar Ali, Sami Aslam, Imam ul Haq, Fawad Alam, to a degree Asad Shafiq.

If Pakistan wants to play Test cricket like the 90s we have to go back (to a certain degree) to the system that produced such unique talent.

No, no Shehzad. He always performs in domestic cricket and then fails in big games. And Fakhar Zaman does seam a bit of a gamble, but it's a gamble I'm willing to take (If I were the captain).

I see power in him, and He averages 30 with the bat in T20s and has a strike rate of 130. Being average isn't bad if You are consistent.

We have some great bowlers in the domestic circuit. Abbas, Sadaf and Tabish are great examples. They just don't get chances and now Amir is always preferred over them.[DOUBLEPOST=1487961076][/DOUBLEPOST]
PSL is the first league to have no Final :clap
Bullets can't bring in peace between Pakistan and India, remember?

The thing that is most impressive is Sarfaraz's captaincy.

A meme best depicts my feeling about him.

Does it take 30 minutes to give the date ? -_-

I feel Fakhar Zaman is a better choice. At least he will play with passion and dedication towards the nation.
Not like Shehzad, Kamran and Umer Akmal. Seniors but still they don't perform consistently in International.
