They have been a bit unlucky due to their hectic travelling schedule but they have made a few blunders too, like having Nawaz in Platinum? Like seriously how can one be so dumb? They were also too reliant on their foreign players. They would have been disppointed by Watson's and Roy's performances especially. What a fall from grace this has been for Quetta Gladiators.
They also lost their best batsman from last year, Umar Akmal, just before the tournament, and were forced to play Azam Khan instead of him. They have been a bit unlucky due to their hectic travelling schedule but they have made a few blunders too, like having Nawaz in Platinum? Great decision, health of the people is much kore important than cricket. Hopefully there will be crowd allowed in the final at least. The games in Karachi of the HBL PSL will be played behind closed doors from tomorrow, due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Pakistan. Nothing is final about the games in Lahore as the epicenter has been Karachi while there have been only a couple of cases in Lahore.
So that means I won't be able to finish in top 3 in fanatsy cricket. Nice! Many players are flying back to their respective countries, with the earliest possible flight due to outbreak of coronavirus. The following players are leaving:
- Karachi Kings – Alex Hales
- Multan Sultans – Rilee Rossouw and James Vince
- Peshawar Zalmi – Tom Banton, Carlos Brathwaite, Liam Dawson, James Foster (coach), Lewis Gregory and Liam Livingstone
PCB is having discussions whether they should hold 2 games a day so that the tournament ends early but no official word on this so far.
- Quetta Gladiators – Jason Roy and Tymal Mills
- Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United to remain unchanged and none of their foreign players are flying back.
I think more than fear of the virus, they fear cancellation of flights and remaining stuck in Pakistan. There are many more cases in the UK than Pakistan so far. Many players are flying back to their respective countries, with the earliest possible flight due to outbreak of coronavirus. Yeah, that reason has been mentioned by a few players too but the root cause of all this is coronavirus.I think more than fear of the virus, they fear cancellation of flights and remaining stuck in Pakistan. There are many more cases in the UK than Pakistan so far.

At least Ben Dunk is there!Chris Lynn, David Weise and Seekkuge Prasanna are flying back to their respective countries. All 3 of them will not be available for the semi-final and the final. This isn't a good news for us Qalandar fans.
