23rd Match, Group F: India v Sri Lanka at Gros Islet

India are definitely 1 seamer short in this match =/
Maybe. Vinay Kumar is probably the right kind of seamer to have, not one who will drop short or think he's got more pace than he does. We saw great demonstrations yesterday from Bresnan and Styris that you can just tear up with cutters. Similarly, darts like those bowled by Yusuf Pathan ought to be an asset. Not using Mendis might have been a mistake for Sri Lanka as he also bowls very flat and quick. They dropped Mendis after a bad time in Barbados, but this might have been his sort of wicket.

If Lankans looking at 143 then :p they are out.

Jadeja is on field so may be time for lankans to get lucky :doh

43 in 37 is quite an easy task now :crying

Sanga taking charge. Doesn't look like the Lankans have any problem with the pace of the wicket. :p

This over will decide it for me. If India get Sanga here we've got a chance, else it's curtains.

34 balls remain to get 39

Vinay You Beauty

Vinay Kumar! Sanga gone. I was just wondering why our bowlers haven't bowled the slower ones.

Let's hope the rest of the batsmen struggle with the pace.

it's worth it, a master blow. sri lanka are much weaker down the order, are india a chance of finishing this quickly?

Come on Indians.. Get the Tempo down now build some pressure and let them get get the total of 10 runs in 6 balls

If Sri Lanka end up getting the 143 but losing, I hope the Windies beat the Aussies and go through instead. It doesn't look like Sri Lanka have any desire to win this match. :p

32 needed in 4 over's for Indians to Defend.

For Srilanka they lost already as 51 in 23 which is biggggggg amount of runs to be got!!
