there was one bad decision of umar akmal... but these things happen. Over all NZ deserved to win because of their all round performance. They were better in all three departments, and very wisely chose the batting powerplay.

Now please win the Cup!!

and specially they were seriously depleted due to injuries.. so hats off to them...

As usual, no one gave us a chance. All the Pakistani fans were all confident and said they'd win easily. So HA! Suck that.

Pakistan didn't help themselves, that catch Younis dropped was an absolute sitter. They missed run-outs. I think blaming the loss on one LBW decision is silly. The noballs didn't help either, not that we really cashed in off them.

We can't blame this loss on 1 bad decision..because we've been helped by bad decisions as well in other games...it was our own fault. Younis Khan dropping that catch was the turning point...and the fielding overall was terrible. Not to forget batting on this perfect wicket, Pakistan only managed 233, where we should have scored atleast 270.

And well done Elliot, I didn't know he could play that well.

He didn't think he was overrated, he thought Elliott was an average player. I remember him saying something like that about North so I wouldn't worry too much

Pak cannot blame the umpires. Which team hasn't been through bad decisions? Pak isn't the only one here, besides, ST made it up for by giving some excellent decisions later on.

That LBW was a bit of a shocker. Big edge on it. I do feel for Pak, but as I said, they didn't help themselves much by dropping that sitter of a catch and the poor batting.

Well I think Neil Broom could do with a boost, he's probably on the verge of being dropped.

Watching the NZ innings (I did not see the PAK innings) I just got pissed of at the Pakistani's as they just went appeal after appeal on obvious decisions.

Even after the decisions they went and asked the umpires why it wasn't out etc. On that Taylor run out I'm pretty sure Akmal (not keeper one) asked the umpire to go up stairs even though every one knew he was in.

They missed a run out change because of excessive appeal, conceded byes because of excessive appealing. Something has to be done about teams like PAK who just go appeal after appeal when it pitches 6 inches out side leg and them stand their shaking their heads at the umpires for not giving it out.(I'm not mentioning other teams as I have just watched two innings this CT because of time difference for matches in NZ)

None the less NZ batted well (not brilliantly). Everyone got starts which was a change but didn't go on. Vettori and Elliot again showed why they are two of the best all rounders in the current game. Vettori proved the ICC idiots wrong after not getting named in either world team by another man of the match performance.

Good luck to NZ for the final and lets hope we can knock over the Aussies.

They actually did get some reverse swing, but Taylor hit the ball out of the ground and the replacement ball didn't move at all after that.
