Highlights from the Pakistani innings

With a small total of 132 to get pakistan knew they could take advantage of this


Afridi was all guns blazing hitting 6's and 4's against the Australian attack


Things then started crumbling for the visitors who once "again" blew there chance of a great position in the test match. With the fall of Afridi the aussies crowd went nuts becuase they knew he was the danger man.

End of Day 1 - Australia will certainly plan to build a innings and get 300 or 400+ runs on the board. Tomorrow is a new day hopefully pakistan can pull of another shocking performance.

Australia in Command!!

Australia have certainly shown their batting class especially Mathew Hayden who hit 170 from 179 balls. After reaching his 100 he started to attack the bowlers especailly Danish Kaneria. Australia are 275/4 and they lead by 219 runs. with just 30 overs remaining in the day, a lead of 350+ is on the cards becuase still to come is the Dangerous Adam Gilchrist. Abdul Razzaq picked up the cruicial wicket of hayden who was looking edgy going after every delivery but he miss hit and full picthed delivery outside the off stump and Yasir Hameed taken a cruical catch nearly dropped it but he had a pair of safe hands!

PAKISTAN PERFORM A MIRICALE!!

Pakistan have once again turned the tide to their favour after getting australia all for 322 and with a lead of 267. After Tea things started changing for the visitors a mix up between Lehmann & Clarke led to Clarkes run out then Gilchrist had just entered the crease with 1 thing on his mind to hit boundarys, Captain Youhana bought Razzaq back on hoping for a wicket the 1st ball razzaq yorked Gilchrist and was given LBW. This was just the start for Razzaq he then got Brett lee in the same fashion but many may disagree with the umpires desicion but after all a wicket of a australian is a big thing! Gillespie tryed to pad away a inswinger yorker from razzaq and was given Plum LBW. australia wre now 296/8. Shane Warne and Mcgrath fought untill the end and got the australian lead to a competitive one.

Razzaq figures ended up as 5-41

Pakistan have a huge task ahead of them... on which is a Batsmens Paradise Can they pull of another shocker by beating the homeside.
