Australia v Pakistan 1st Test, Day 2 - Lunch!

What can we say about this morning session? One thing's for sure it's been a frustrating one a real frustrating one especially for Australia who still couldn't get any of the openers out speaking of openers they havnt been doing much either shots have been played but the Australian fielding is on top of their game frustration or not and runs have been hard to come by.

There have been a few close shaves here and there though, we'll look at the closer ones in a minute but we can tell you the edge of the bat has been beaten countless number of times, lbw appeals flying all over the shot and that pretty much sums up Australias frustration, oh and so does this image of Bracken as he was down to the ground after beating Butt's bat three times that over...

To add insult to injury Imran Nazir has been trying his ODI form except in a Test match style, he's been making the runs at one point he was on 29 whilst his partner down the other end Salman Butt was only on 4. Nazir has showed resiliance shades of the test match where Salaman Butt when he was flashing his bat all over the place taking it to the Australians on the 2nd Innings. Of course this times it's Nazir who just to be precise hoiked Brett Lee's bouncer for a big big six way into the bleachers as they say...

To make matters worse one of the best keeprs on earth slipped up which was a hard catch but from what we've seen him pull off it was definatly a chance, or was it a chance? I mean does it count as a chance if no one gets their hands on it?

Because that's what happened here none of the players got hand to it Gilly made a extreme low leap but it was past him befor he knew it and Butt got away with a flashing edge and 2 runs with it so not a good morning session for Australia and all the banter on earth is going out there despite the Pakistani's keeping their wickets in-tact after the edges and the appeals the Aussies have dug into Salman Butt with some strong but clean banter to put the youngster right under pressure, we'll see how they react after the lunch break!

Its very rare to see Gilchrist missing catches..(Almost NIL) that too EA keepers missing the catch is even more rarest things. They make some super human dives.

Anyways, some quick wickets needed for Australia. Keep up the great works!
