PROPOSAL TO BENGAL TIGERS

Bengal Tigers, we at PC have decided to invite you to play a second friendly on the 2nd of January 2009, with a completely different select XI involved, featuring people such as Zorax who have been upset with the current situation. Please accept, or I'll be in for it! :p

Then we could see which PC XI was better. :p

Yeah we will. Anyway here is our squad, have you agreed to play a 5 dayer and use our averages?

Breeno (pure bat)
Mousey (pure bat)
trotto (pure bat)
Biggie (pure bat)
Crimson King (pure bat)
Ozzie 33 Lt (pure bat)
Cotchin 9 (Keeper)
Kram81 (Bowling AR, Leg Spin)
happy eagle (Pure Bowler left arm fast)
Edge69 (pure bowler right arm med fast)
w.weapons (pure bowler left arm fast, right hand bat)

Just post the results in 1 go, I'm going away on the 4th so if we are going to play 2 matches then we have to do this all in one go.

I should be in the team but I don't care cause it's my first season and I'm smashing in both forms of the game.

Star Soakers batsmen recalls PCPL season
Eager to get into the public mudslinging, star Soakers batsman who was selected for the friendly against some Bengal Tigers team took the opportunity to talk to the media about his breakout PCPL season.

"All these part-time cricketers should really stop humiliating themselves in the public eye. I would like to remind all and sundry that one great cricketer, myself, did not take a PCPL award despite recording the highest average, of infinity."

Misra has had a great season this year after deciding to retire from limited overs cricket and bowling.

WHAT THE HELL!

Seriously... all captains should be selected first ... THEN we worry about the rest of the side... maybe a captain and vice captain xi

Sohum Not Star Batsmen

Sohum is clearly not the star batsmen for Soakers but the one and only Covvy. I am the best on the team and does not care about his teammates but still a team man

Zorax Lambasts lazy Organisers!

"For Pete's Sake, can't anything be done on time here?!"

Legendary Downright Donkeys Allrounder Zorax Doom has come out all guns blazing against the PCCL organisers for their sloppy handling of the friendly matches against the Bengal Tigers.

The mid-season friendly matches against the foreign club side was due to take place on the 30th December, yet after 2 days the captains are yet to even toss the coin, let alone start the game.

The PCCL selectors came under fire earlier on from Zorax and several other senior players, due to the selection of a dodgy looking PlanetCricket Representative XI. The following uproar ensured that a second friendly shall be played, featuring the players who missed the cut earlier on.

However, the said matches are yet to take place, causing Zorax to launch into yet another angry tirade against the 'men in charge'.

"It's disgraceful, it's pathetic, it's a mockery of the PCCL!"

"These men in charge have given the PCCL a bad name, and have been made to look like incompetent, bumbling fools, what with their shoddy handling to the selection of the squad, and now their terrible efforts to get the matches going!"

"One can only imagine what state the PCCL is in if the entire organisation of said competition is in the hands of these so called 'professionals', who can't even handle running a few friendly matches!"

"It is no wonder that we loyal PCCL cricketers have given up screaming about why nothing can get done in time, and have instead resigned ourselves to such a state of mind that we are happy that we even have a cricket competition to start with! Even trivial matters like friendly games seem to take ages to get done!"

"I would like to apologise on the behalf of the PCCL organisers, selectors, and players. The Bengal Tigers deserve better. Heck, we deserve better! I don't know about the others, but I can't stand this sort of treatment anymore! And you know what, I'm going to do something about it!"

On that note Zorax stormed out of the room, muttering something along the lines of 'strike'. Whether he will actually lead the players in rebellion, or whether he is just having another one of his half-baked ideas, will be left to be seen. All we can say for now is that the PCCL Board certainly have a lot on their plate at this moment, and they'll need to act and act quick in order to prevent a disastrous conclusion.

Tassietiger can't read Zorax's text

True story. Will just have to presume it was a general rant.

Lots of typing but no action it seems.

A pity.
