Excellent! just what I wanted, Pakistan to win and England to lose. Great to see Waqar continuing his wicket-taking form, it was great to see Saeed Anwar giving a break-through in his one and only over. They kept on losing their key batsmen time to time just as my work-horse and wicket-taking aggressive bowlers bowled out the dangerous looking opening stand. Bowlers did an amazing job on not giving away silly runs and restricting them to a low and easily chase-able target. Saeed Anwar fell off short but this time the other batsmen proved to be match-winning sheet anchors with the much-expecting Zaheer Abbas scoring his first half ton of the tournament. Hanif Mohammad slowly built up the team's confidence and made sure to stick to the wicket and not to give silly wickets. The match was pretty much over when Zaheer Abbas stepped on the pitch, Javed Miandad made sure there were no hiccups in the middle order. Overall, it was Imran Khan's magnificent captaincy and the whole team's brilliant effort which lead us to an easy vital victory.

For the do or die match, I'd like to introduce Inzamam in for Hanif Mohammad. Inzamam is known for his brilliance in vital matches though.

Excellent! exactly what I wanted, my team to perform brilliantly and as realistically as possible. The strong-side of my team which's bowling bowled out the strong-looking fearsome Kiwis on a chase-able but not easy to chase score. Bowlers were great and as usual, the master-mind Waqar took 2 needed wickets, Wasim was brilliant in taking key wickets, they were the vital and strong-looking batsmen who Wasim dismissed so easily, the support of skipper always makes the job easier for my great wicket-taking aggressive bowlers especially when there's a challenge between them and good to see Waqar taking more wickets than Wasim although Wasim was better than Waqar in taking wickets but not in restricting opposition on a low score. Top four batters did the job easily done with Inzy coming back strongly and making it sure the other batsmen don't find it difficult in completing the remaining score. This is what Inzy is best at, winning vital matches on his own and I'm very happy he did just that. The batsmen as usual made it sure that they don't let hard-working work-horse bowlers hard work to go in vain. The opening stand of Inzy and Saeed Anwar, they played aggressively, both these batters play carefully yet aggressively making it very difficult for the bowlers to read the batters weakness as they get rattled, Inzamam just rattles every bowlers who comes in his way as an obstacle, same goes for the other batsmen as they were selfish when it come to scoring. Overall, I'm very happy to see my team winning a vital match and I'm sure the next match is even important and it's against the arch rivals, India. Surely my players will be boosted up for this occasion as they're fight-loving players. For the important match, I'd like to keep the winning combination same.

You simulated the game with the wrong lineup. Brett Lee wasn't supposed to play this game, but we beat the West Indies, so I'm good with that. Nice job by the batsmen. Always difficult for the team batting second to chase pretty much anything over 250/260 on cricsim's normal pitches 'cause the batsmen get some kind of brain freeze and prod around like dummies.

Yes! Another vital match conquered with my batting department giving all they have. This proves that everyone's contribution is much needed and it's the key to being victorious, Saeed Anwar who has been awesome with bat this season for me which is usually was all his life, made a very important contribution in this match, Inzy was slow but kept his wicket and kept on scoring, both Saeed Anwar and Inzy added a brilliant score of 93 together for the opening stand, which played as a motivation for the other yet-to-bat batters. The batters use full advantage of the brilliant winning opportunity given by the openers with Zaheer Abbas scoring a blistering enough 49, sad he missed his half-ton though, would have been a great achievement for such a brilliant batsman who has been terrific in the only 2-3 matches he has played, Javed Miandad's blazing 67 not-out was the key contribution to my team, he set-off the bowlers, rattled them and kept on scoring which is he used to do in his era. Mohammad Yousuf, who has won me a couple of important group-stage matches was quite unlucky there. I'm very happy to see Imran winning the match for his team yet again, proving to be a true-great leader which he was and is. Just like the old '92 days, when Miandad and Imran used to win matches on their own, both when combined were considered as the best world-cup partners in batting, they were the most dangerous batters as they didn't care about wickets, they just hit every ball coming in their way, using their experience and brilliance. Really happy to see Pakistan winning yet another vital knock-out match. The next man I'm sure will be the hardest of all, I need every player of my team to perform what they've been performing through-out the season. It won't matter even if I lost the next match, bringing back a team which didn't have any chance of qualifying to 3rd position is enough for a manager like me, but who knows we might get any other position? I'd like to keep the great-working winning combination same, it's hard to beat them but it's not impossible and Pakistan is a team which really doesn't care who the opponet is.
