Nayar is not a part of Mumbai squad. Although he was added later as a replacement for Dhawal Kulkarni

Probably, Jayasuriya will be sitting in the bench and cheering the other guys :p

Welcome to this brand new episode of "Road to CLT20," where we discuss about the teams which have made it into Champions League T20. This episode will deal about how the 'Royal Challengers Bangalore' made it into the Champions League T20. Royal Challengers Bangalore stood third in IPL, but as IPL has three slots in Champions League T20, RCB has qualified.

The team owned by liquor baron, the one and only 'Vijay Mallaya' is one of the red hot teams of IPL. Though their performance in IPL 2008 was lacklusture, they managed to stand 2nd in the following edition. They managed to win the 3/4th place decider to stand third and qualify for the CLT20 for the second consecutive time. Anil Kumble, the skipper of the team said that they were pretty confident of winning the Champions League and it was all about the timely action, which matters. "We're confident of our victory in Champions League T20 and we all are practicing with some agenda for this mega event. We miss Ross a lot as he is playing for his home team, Central Stags. Stags without Ross would be just like a body without backbone. We're glad to have the services of Kallis and White, as even they have their home teams qualified." Anil Kumble said. Answering "Do you think you can repeat what you've done in IPL II?", Kumble said,"Definitely, I'd like to repeat that job, but its all about the timely action, which matters for a win/loss of a particular 'T20' game."

Royal Challengers Bangalore are surely one of the strong contenders to win CLt20. Their bowling attack is pretty solid and their batting line up is quite good too. It would be interesting to see how Bangalore play in CLt20.

Nice writing there Binnu. Presentation is simple yet very effective. That road to CLt20 at the end of every teams update looks really good. Nice efforts put into this story so far, Binnu. Keep it up. :)

Warriors is a team which represents the Eastern Province and Border regions of South Africa. They look strong with the likes of Mark Boucher, Nicky Boje, Johan Botha, Makhaya Ntini, Davy Jacobs, Juan Theron etc. The team has lost the services of Jacques Kallis as he will be playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the CLT20. The skipper of the team Johan Botha has bit of experience in the perspective of captaincy as he has been the skipper of South Africa in the absence of Graeme Smith in their tour of Australia 2008-09. Although he lost both the T20i's he has lead, but he holds a record as a captain, who has defeated Aussies in their homeland in ODI's 4-1. He said ,"I'm happy to be the captain of the team and I swear to do justice to my role. Although I have negative record in T20i's, I'm confident on myself and my team that we'll do well and try winning this competition. We've got mix of youngsters and experienced. Players like Theron, Tsotsobe have been hot favorites in the nets so far. They're just tearing the pitches with their speed, which is a good omen for us."
