4th Match: England v Sri Lanka (Group B)

Where are the ENGLAND supports???????????????:rtfl

Unlike other sets of fans we like to watch our cricket rather than type out un-needly whats going on and stating the bleeding obvious, when people already know.

Shah needs to be there till the end of the innings for England.

Colly drags it onto the stumps. Big blow for England. SL coming back into the game.

Exactly my point..

:laugh Morgan's already over-taken Shah. Shah has to bat through, if he gets out having batted this slowly then his place should really be considered. He's continued to score runs for Middlesex this season, but has done nothing for England, bar that hundred against India in 07 and a couple of innings against India away last year. Really needs to step up and doing something worthwhile.

Dont like Shah advancing down the wicket to defend to Mendis, looks very dodgy when he does that.

If he bottles it here, then send him the way of Bopara.

I didn't used to like Harsha Bhogle's commentary, but he's been pretty good tonight, had a few funny lines. Liked his one about Morgan a minute ago:

'And the good thing for England, he's not even from South Africa'

:laugh

OA KING OF SIXERS!!

eh I still hate Harsha Bogle, his cricket knowledge is terrible, his accent is painful, he never even played cricket and he makes many borderline homosexual comments about the players.

I just mute it whenever he says anything.

i think this has shown that sri lanka need to be brave regarding team selection. was spin bothering england they have jayasuriya and dilshan but on this track 2 specialist spinners is backing them in to a corner. Thushara should have played.

Hopefully England will cure my depression that I'm spending a Friday night in. Twice the drinking tomorrow though especially if we win. :D

Must say I'm impressed by the classic trance played after boundaries. I keep expecting Wanderlei Silva to run out and knee Murali in the head.

Good performance by England, impressive showing with the bat thanks to the middle order. All of them did their job in the middle, Colly put some good impetus in early. Shah held it together, not particularly fluent, but he was vital in ensuring we didn't leave it to the all-rounders/bowlers. Morgan was the best of the bunch, very mature innings.

I think there is some work to do with Onions, he's a wicket taker which is important, but needs to improve in terms of lengths.

I think England showed that the pitch wasn't that bad. Really, I think that's a 250 wicket if you bat well, like England did.

Well done boys!
