I agree 100% with this. My keeper hardly ever misses the ball on my one PC, but on my laptop I get it very often. I'll see if the new DirectX makes a difference to C2K4. Might be good for all my other games as well!

Everything seems to be smoother in general, but I still get the keeper problem on my laptop. Luckily I play on my other PC 95% of the time and that seems to be perfect for C2K4.

Apparently, it will. Many people have reported it. This is just because some textures also control gameplay in this game, because of HB.

Extract it in a seperate folder. And then run the setup.exe from that folder. It will automatically be installed!

When you open the downloaded file, it will prompt you to enter the folder in which to extract the files.

After entering the folder, extract the files.

And then, in that folder will be a file called setup.exe or dxsetup.exe .

Open that file and DirectX will be automatically installed.

all i got is a bunch of blue files and sum other ones theres one a pic of a cpu which say DXSETUP but not exe wen i click on it it gets me to install components or summin but i have already done it plez help desperate for edges

Once you start that DXsetup thing, it will automatically install DirectX.

And if the components have been installed, then DirectX should be installed.

And if you want to check if it has been installed properly :

1) Go to Start------------Run.
2) Type "dxdiag.exe" and press Enter.
3) Once the file opens, check the version of DirectX.
4) And test other things too,viz, Display, Sound, etc.

If everything is positive, then your DirectX is working properly!
