Fletcher Re-signs

Former England Coach Duncan Fletcher at yesterdays Press Conferance

Yesterday evening England Coach Duncan Fletcher resigned as the coach of England after a misunderstading with the England team, and past results. It is reported that Duncan Fletcher has taken up a singing roll in a new band labelled 'The Love Handles'. Few days before the world cup, there are already two Job Candidates that are in the running for the Job Duncan had for years, Peter Moores and James Edmonds. Veteran player Peter Moores has the experience factor over new coach James Edmonds but James is said to be the next Lancashire coach when the coach resigns. The favourite to get the job is obviously Peter Moores, aged 44 used to play for big teams like Sussex and Worcestershire. A decent wicketkeeper with over 7000 First Class runs at an average of 24 has established himself as one of the leading England-born coaches after a long, efficient career keeping wicket for Sussex, for whom he made over 500 dismissals. In the other end of the boat, Rookie Manager James Edmonds, a young gun who could theoretically be coach of England for an eternity as he is only young, but he once played before having a few to many injuries and in the end forced to retire took up coaching, where he found himself God-like. It is definetly in Peter's favour but then again, anything can happen in Cricket Nowadays.

Are you gonna manage Lancs for a few seasons before taking the England job, or just jump straight in and do both?

Looking forward to see how you do this Jaz. Would be nice if you started with Lancs but someone else getting the job for England. Then you get the job later on in the story :)

Peter Moores New England Coach

The Elated new England Boss

In a short press conferance yesterday, 3 days after the England job was made vacant, Peter Moores hsa been appointed the coach of England. He was chosen due to the experience and knowing some of the players already, the board said. They are hoping he does a crakcing job at the World Cup as England hopefully go for success. James Edmonds the candidate who didn't get the job has praised Peter by saying how well he can judge and nature talent, and also helps alot with Wicketkeeping training, so he offers alot. Although it is a new coach, how will he fair apposing to the era of Duncan Fletcher?

Good luck to the story Jaz  Lets see how well England are gonna perform under a new coach. Looking forward to it!

A few suprises in the team but will it be enough for england as they try to win the World Cup for the first time or will it crumble under the pressure...

----------------------------------

From now on the story will be for James Edmonds' eyes so the review on matches will be by him although he is not England manager whe will still continue and report the World Cup to you, updates will be better presented and longer when it is me as manager. ;)

Surprised with Newman and Irani but like the inclusion of Benning, Bruce and Munday. Will be interesting to see how the new guys do...

Did you pick that team purposefully so they would do rubbish and Moore would get fired?

Very experienced and unexperienced players in the squad. Great works nevertheless. Looking forward to the first game Jaz. ;)
