To get Beattie saying those things must mean that they are doing great. This is a good sign for the club.

I hope Everton can keep this form.

Close of the transfer window - Who went where?

Well, the transfer window has closed shut till January.

Premiership Ins: (part 1)

There has been quite a flurry of activity in the transfer market this season with Chelsea splashing out the largest wad of cash by an Premiership side as they shelled out 39 Million pound sterling to land Inter's Adriano.

Arsenal have roped in Adriano's erstwhile team mate from Inter - The veteran goal keeper Fransiko Toldo for 1.9 Million to bolster up their goal keeping resources. The Gunners have raised a few eyebrows by adding Atletico Madrid's winger Kiki Musampa who was loaned out to Manchester City last season.

Newcastle United have beefed up their attack potency by signing Lyon ace Cris for around 6.7 Mn

Newcastle have also swooped for Internazionale's Sinisa Mihaljovic. The defender has moved to the Tyneside club in a deal worth 475,000 pounds

Wigan Athletic have certainly managed the football pundits to take notice in their first ever flirt with the Premiership by managing to rope in Stilian Petrov, Hendrik Hahne, Juan Arango and Ricardo Tavarelli.

Middlesborough have managed to baffle a few by signing Bolton's veteran play maker Jay Jay Okocha on a 3 year deal to The Riverside.

It seems that Boro have thrown their policy of blloding youngsters out of the window as they have roped in another veteran in Predrag Djordjevic from Olympiakos.

what about A. Johnson did u make any offers on him??
No mate! I did make a formal enquiry though. I felt we might be held to ransom by that arrogant git Simon Jordan. So I have shelved my pursuit of AJ for the time being. Thanks for the continued support mate. :)
