Sorry for the late reply guys. Yeah, to advance down the wicket, hold the CTRL and then SHIFT key and press any of the three strokes' keys (LEFT for defense, RIGHT for loft and DOWN for grounded stroke). You'd now be able to play those strokes while you're advancing towards the bowler.

Just a tip: Be alert if in case you miss the ball while you're charging out of the crease; and press the back (LEFT arrow key) on time. That might save you from being stranded more often than not.
