The AFL has undergone a new system. We are now at the end of the 2005 season, and things are already starting to heat up for the 06 season. The Kangaroos have undergone a new home. With the argument going on for the last 2 years, the Kangaroos have finally convinced the AFL to move them up to the Gold Coast. The 3 million dollar transfer might be the answer that the Kangaroos have been looking for, to save their club.
New Rules for 2006 include. The NAB Cup compettion will not be a knockout cup anymore. It will be like the cricket, with groups. They play 3 matches each and whoever are the top teams at the end of those 3 rounds will go onto the Semi Finals.
This story will include, Match stats, team stats, goal kickers, marks, disposals, hitouts, tackles (all at the end of the round, leaders throughout the compettion)
Telecasting Rights: Channel 10, Channel 7 and Foxtel have the honours of hosting the Football this year. Channel 9 have been booted out by Channel 7 to hold the AFL. Channel 7's commentators for the year will include. Bruce MacAvaney, Dennis Cometti, David Schwarze, Liam Pickering and Robert Diperdemonico.
Graphics: Hopefully, some real looking scoreboards. Overall scoreboards, with the results from every quarter. Spreadsheets for the end of the weeks leader boards (goals, kicks, disposals, marks, hitouts and ect....)
