ai/exe editing - few quick questions

is it the starforce encryption that makes the exe hard to edit, if so would it be easy to edit without the sf protection.

Also is the demo's exe protected by starforce aswell? if it is not wouldn't that give us a clue as to how to edit the real games exe?

It is virtually impossible to remove the Starforce Protection, it is possible to edit the exe code but I have tried doing that and it does nothing. The only person who knows how to edit the exe is Sam - who hasn't been on for a while.

The protection has been cracked but there still isn't an unencoded exe around. The way to edit it is by means of scanning for values when ingame but, like hondeyho said, Sam is the man for that.

well it doesn't look like sam will be back, (for a while at least, his last post here was in november last year) but surely someone else would know at least where to start to edit the exe, anyone? Because everyone knows that if BLIC's AI was patched it would possibly be the best Cricket game ever, combined with all the briliant graphics patches we already have!
