So on March 12 2017 you had not even bought the game. I'm guessing that in the last 8 days something would have changed otherwise you wouldn't keep posting. So after 8 days, what is your view? Precisely? Considering the title of the thread, you would not feel cheated at all, otherwise why are you here?

Don't worry Ross. He said just over a week ago that he was not going to buy the game so unless he caved in and bought it he has no place in this thread. My guess is he's just a troll, unless he'd like to prove otherwise. The door is open for any further input from @CaptainOZ . After all the thread is called "almost feel like cheated". He can't feel like he's cheated if he doesn't own it.

Well, my intention of this post was not to insult anyone. I'm still a huge fan of Big Ants. It's just that when you spend a good amount of money on a video game you do expect to get full out of it, which at the present I'm unable to. It's full justified to express my disappointment. I'm not talking about giving us an exact date, just frequent updates on the progress and changes you are trying to make, makes the wait a bit more easier and you feel a sense of satisfaction that your problems are being heard. I don't think I demanded something irrational here.

As I've said previously, if you want us to chime in every day saying we're working on things, we can, don't understand what that gets you....

If you expect a date for release, we can't predict it reasonably enough for some of the children that frequent this place, and if we did predict it, and got it wrong, then the very ignored trolls that are obviously posting in here would have a field day.

There was a time that it was safe to come on here and give insight to the development, and bring everyone along on the journey, this place is not that place anymore.

Sir, I don't think giving us frequent updates about the progress or acknowledging the suggestions is too much of a demand. No one's asking you to give us an exact date, I know developing is lengthy process, it's just that there should be more interaction from your side. Like for me the major concern right now is AI responsiveness and I have put my input in various thrrads, now I dont even know that if the issues is being worked on or not. So the frustration gets natural.

I think you've just been ignored and put on the ignored list but you make a fairly valid point.

What!! Can't believe you can say such thing. Mr. Ross, dbc 14 had a major Number of buyers from this group. Heck, even dbc 17 had all the publicity because of this place. What was your major publicity stance outside Australia? We, the people from this group got involved in testing betas, providing inputs to enhance your next iteration, heck, we even became the source of voices for your stadium announcers in DBC 17!! it's rude but tell me that we are not a stakeholder (a major) on the development of dbc? Our contribution didn't act as a catalyst of development being manpower and energy saver for you? If we are rightfully questining your QA, that makes us unreliable, nagging children? Damn you!! Such ungrateful behaviour!!

It's not for you to tell people how they feel, especially since a portion of the fan base gave up relatively good money for the game. If they feel cheated or robbed that's on them

People can feel however they want to feel. Equally other people can tell them they're being precious little dick heads, and buying a product that doesn't meet expectations is not cheating, unless they have some sort of accusation of misrepresentation by BA of the game pre-sales.

Anyone who bought the game post-day 1 knew they were buying a product with issues. Crying now because the patches haven't met and arbitrary time frame they imposed themselves is pathetic.

Short version: Yes they have the right to feel cheated, and everyone else has the right to tell them that makes them a dick.

There was a time that this was a genuinely fun place to be with good banter and discussions..... the forum for people who played hard but fair, like cricket.....used to be.....its just a slog fest played out by mercenarys and hacks....just like cricket has become. Congrats people.
