Almost feel like cheated.

There was a time that this was a genuinely fun place to be with good banter and discussions..... the forum for people who played hard but fair, like cricket.....used to be.....its just a slog fest played out by mercenarys and hacks....just like cricket has become. Congrats people.

Which I guess makes DBC17 the IPL of planet cricket? NOW I understand the negativity.

As I've said previously, if you want us to chime in every day saying we're working on things, we can, don't understand what that gets you....

If you expect a date for release, we can't predict it reasonably enough for some of the children that frequent this place, and if we did predict it, and got it wrong, then the very ignored trolls that are obviously posting in here would have a field day.

There was a time that it was safe to come on here and give insight to the development, and bring everyone along on the journey, this place is not that place anymore.

Ok , so we get Zero Feedback , other than "We are working on it"

I guess we all should stop with any feedback / Suggestions , Bug Reports etc. as we get zero feedback if they have even been read / acknowledged / worked upon .

Why even bother trying to help @BigAntStudios , if this is the type of response one gets after weeks of dead silence .

Because we have naughty little children on here , so everyone else gets punished by being kept in the dark .

Does not make sense at all to be dead honest .

A simple list of whats been dealt with , would at the very least show whats happening . But the decision seems to have been made by BA , to keep the loyal paying mushrooms in the dark , until a

day before the update drops.

Sad that it had to come to this.

You payed. You got a game in return.

You didn't pay for posts on a forum. Welcome to the real world.

Well if you suspect you're on the ignore list, I'd bet I'm there with you. So you can feel slightly less minor, if only in that regard.

If you were on my ignore list then I wouldn't have been able to quote you.

What!! Can't believe you can say such thing. Mr. Ross, dbc 14 had a major Number of buyers from this group. Heck, even dbc 17 had all the publicity because of this place. What was your major publicity stance outside Australia? We, the people from this group got involved in testing betas, providing inputs to enhance your next iteration, heck, we even became the source of voices for your stadium announcers in DBC 17!! it's rude but tell me that we are not a stakeholder (a major) on the development of dbc? Our contribution didn't act as a catalyst of development being manpower and energy saver for you? If we are rightfully questining your QA, that makes us unreliable, nagging children? Damn you!! Such ungrateful behaviour!!

I have posted here previously, mostly out of hours, as I am now while watching the drawn test, because I want to.

Being the "source" of ground announcing, getting your name in the game etc. were favours we were doing for you guys, showing respect and goodwill towards people here, I know most people here see it that way, not the reverse case you've made out - it costs us time and effort to do these things.

I never said you weren't a stakeholder - I did say we are working on the next patch.

PS: You seriously overestimate the relationship between sales and promotion on this place, I, and I'm sure MattW, wish it were different.

I have no idea who you are. Never seen you here before. Such an uninformed post, too. Go take a pill and lie down, son.[DOUBLEPOST=1489995356][/DOUBLEPOST]

You're the lucky one!

If you were on my ignore list then I wouldn't have been able to quote you.
I am though... ?

I think that's a little harsh mate. I think they have to manage expectations because if they are saying x will definitely be fixed and y is resolved and z is nearly done and it'll out by whenever and even a part of that is wrong it'll be a shit storm here.

They've acknowledged problems, they're working to fix what they can. I am really not sure how much more than they do?

It is a sad reality, the golden age of cricket has passed me by. People my age shouldn't mind but one look on the internet and there's loads of old cricket where life seemed so different. Don't want to insult anyone but you only have to have a small attention span to watch T20 (I think I have) there's no class or skill if you get out someone else comes in to smash it around no playing for singles no change of strike no real strategy just hit it hard somewhere...?

BA are only doing the same as the big boys can't really hold them to ransom, it is annoying but such are the times, brave new world, wish I was born in the seventies because my memories aren't classics.

@blockerdave

I know its harsh , and maybe uncalled for .

I`m just battling to keep my Online Leagues alive , trying to feed them little tidbits of info to try and manage the fed-up-with-bugs feeling .

But I dont have anything more to tell them , than the same thing I`v been telling them the last 2 months. "Their Working on it Guys"

When you see the same stuff happening , and get the same response , and its (2) Months later , it sometimes boils over .

I for one have posted numerous Bug reports with video eveidence etc. , suggestions , in the hope of making this Game the Game it can be .

It just irks , that you dont get any feedback other than the generic response .

But I`m a positive guy , and will keep the hopes alive , trying my level best.

At least I still have 18 / 22 Starters on my League , so it hasnt reached critical state yet .

@BigAntStudios , sorry for venting my frustrations , I should have probably kept it to myself .

I mean it kind of makes sense though... i imagine most people playing cricket as a video game dont share that joy with many people close to them in the real world - not that its not great but were a minority here for sure! As such when they purchase a game that doesnt meet their expectations and feel the need to complain, they find an appropriate place to do so... that place just so happens to be here...

You didn't pay for posts on a forum. Welcome to the real world.

We paid for a game that promised "a new revolutionary control system delivering the best batting, bowling and fielding experience by providing you an even greater level of variety and precision of play"... which i and many others for one believe we have in no way shape or form received!

Notice how the tag line does not read "a bowling control system that is a regression from its predecessor, batting that is for all intensive purposes the same as its predecessor, and a fielding system that does not work as it should. The stats also dont work properly on a number of levels, there are multiple issues involving logos/stadiums and in-game lag, and there are times in the game when it is impossible to win a match because of a stamina bug/poorly designed feature"

Nor does it state "early access, an abundance of bugs expected"

@SnowyCasanova, i invite you to respond to what ive said and justify why i, the consumer, should not be annoyed with this game and its developers etc... if you plan to simply make a snarky comment about me or anything else then just be silent, but really, i am interested to hear your thoughts on what ive written here!!

I am not stating that this place is not the right place to state a point of view on the game, I am just stating that the manner in which menbers engage with each other is generally very aggressive and abusive, something that I myself have also been guilty of in the past. It doesnt lead to an enviroment in which you feel particularly enclined to partake in knowing that the reactions can be very black or white.

don't get me wrong, t20 has it's place and it can be entertaining. the last t20WC was excellent. but it's like watching a youtube video of a cat on a trampoline vs watching animal house... 1 is mildly entertaining and forgotten in minutes, the other is a classic and creates real memories ("was it over when the germans bombed pear harbour, hell no! and it ain't over now!") (yes, I'm comparing test cricket to animal house.)

What's Animal house, something by Steve Backshall? Well you have those memories even test cricket is over inside four days.
