Indian opener Virender Sehwag has brought up a lengthy half century as India reached 1/124 at the half way mark of the first innings. Sehwag has been out of sorts on a wicket that appears to be playing slower than expected.
The usually attacking openers fifty has come off 86 balls, and has appeared cautious and seems intent on staying the length of the innings.

Hopes Breaks Through - Sehwag Dismissed - India 2/138 (27.5)
James Hopes has provided the end to a frustrating innings by Virender Sehwag as the opener was dismissed for 56 with the score at 2/138. In the 28th over of play, Hopes had the unusually conservative Sehwag trapped infront LBW from a short ball that stayed unusually low.
The Delhi pitch appears to be causing problems from the batsmen, with the home side struggling at 5.08 runs an over on a wicket that was originally expected to be a batsmans paradise.
