Nice victory there. You guys all seem to finish test matches in one day, its crazy.
I wouldn't bowl such a tight line and length if my batting was any good, but since it isn't.....

BTW, you should try playing against England. Simon Jones has a kickass reverse swing in the game, and Harmison is just as much of a pain.

I'm very proud of this one considering I was playing against Australia on test difficulty and didn't have World test XI bowlers at my disposal.
The crazy thing about this innings was just how tight the bowling was. After 43 overs Aus were 50/2 a runrate of 1.1!
Then I brought Steve Harmison back on to bowl. First ball after tea was a ripping inswinger that Martyn was late on and took middle stump out of the ground. Lehman beaten for pace 3 balls late and bowled offstump. Clarke edging behind. Freddie got Hayden next over and suddenly I had Aus 51/6! Incredible stuff :)

Thats impressive. Even i cant seem to restrict the cpu to run rates like that. They normally go at about 3 or so an over for me.

Woohoo! Just won my Ashes series with a match to spare 2-0. I will echo what others have said about the CPU batting and that is it needs to just bat better than it does. Except from the 2nd innings of the 4th test (which you'll be able to see in the file i'm going to attach) I havn't had all that many problems bowling them out for low/lowish scores.

Anyway, here's the series scorecards and stats fully updated to the 4th test, feel free to have a look and pass comment:

Ive downloaded it Stevie, what do i have to do to view an xls file?

I'm going to have to share my ODI demolition of Sri Lanka with everyone to show what a God I am at bowling :p

I quickly slumped to 50/6 batting first (no change there) but Gilo and Geraint Jones pulled me up to 150 odd before getting out. Gilo hit the first 50 I have had on test difficulty. :)

I then bowled to Sri Lanka using the default field. After 15 overs they were 25/1.
After 35 overs just 47/2. From their 50 overs on a hard pitch their total was 99/5! Check out those bowling figures...

Impressive work Colin. Thats what i like about this game. It rewards hard work and can be very satisfying.

Now, want a real challenge. edit the top 4 or 5 batsmen, give them 100 in each rating, ie test, odi, vs pace, vs swing, vs spin. This makes the game i reckon at least 5 times harder. You will be lucky to get a batsmen of this calibre out for under 20.

Wow, I'm gonna try this out today. :)

I'm quite pleased with this one too. A 20 over ODI on test difficulty...
Might well do some stats editing as Gas suggests.

Well it makes their defense better, so their confidence stays high, hence they are much harder to get out.

I tried your don't attack til confidence is high thing. Trouble was everytime they got a special ball it would hit me and send my confidence down to zero. I'd spend a 9/10 balls building it up and they'd take one to knock it down.
Anyhow after 33 overs I've just reached 100/2 and am starting to play much more aggressively.
Strauss was out for 0 after facing 46 balls, bowled on the first attacking shot I played. Bell cut straight to gully a few overs later. Vaughan has just reached 50 though after taking Lee for 32 off his first 2 overs!
