Announcement/Video and Screenshots/Playsession

Ross has gone one better and offered me the chance to go visit them at their offices, so I'll certainly get to do a preview of the game prior to release.

Really looking forward to it.

hey Matt, take your camera along and try to nick (miss timed shot) some balls, want to see how the edges flies to slip or keeper and one straight drive.. record these all and please share

More than 300 people viewing in Big Ant section,
How much will be tomorrow when there will be a release? :cheers

I want we will rock you sound track in game.speacially in t20's

From what Ross said about licensor leaving the ashes early and travelling at the mo, I would guess an ex aussie player to be the name of the game. I saw loads at Lords, Adam Gilchrist was there, maybe even Warney, although I think he is staying in England for the next test.

BTW, blown away by that screenshot, hand off the bat, holy crap.

The only possibility would be Gilly - It's probably a batsman+other players who were there (batsmen) stopped playing long ago...

I wouldn't fancy releasing a Mark Taylor Cricket 14 or something similar now...

So, it's gonna be Gilly all the way.... :clap

No Vine app on my Windows Phone unfortunately :p

Will have to see what Ross is happy with about filming, etc.

What are you guys most excited about tomorrow's BA's reveal

1- Game play video
2-Screen Shots
3-CA update with Licensing stuff

just curious ;) :D :p

That's why Virtua Racing is my favourite driving game - realistically square wheels.

Perhaps 505 are the publisher and now Chief works for Ross, but they had to stay silent before the announcement? :spy

Maybe thats why ross knows so much, MWAHAHAHAHAH :spy

You can observe that the ball in the first pic looks like somewhat floating and again probably at the same moment its perfectly touching ground in pic 2, so it's only the view angle diff....:thumbs

God what a screenshot:thumbs:thumbs and more juicy stuff coming tomorrow, bigant cricket all the way.
PS I don't care about licenced international teams as CA is like a licence for teams and the legends on here and around the world will make way better than that other game anyway. PS You should see the created player for my uncle, near perfect.:D

That pic/screenie looks awesome! For once we see fielders other than the guy chasing or catching the ball not standing like zombies, and we actually get to see batsman playing a one handed shot!!! To top it the ball actually looks realistic rather than the bright reddish blob that has passed for a cricket ball for ages. I hope the game nails the sound of ball hitting the bat, which is such a fundamental part of the gameplay but which no previous game has managed to master. IF BAC manages to do so they would be the first and based on the evidence so far they should be able to :cheers

The one flaw in the screenie, and it's a cosmetic one, is that the batsman seems to be wearing wicket keeping pads. They seem smallish and not what a batsman's pads look like. But as I said, it's a minor thing and no biggie :thumbs Can't wait for the gameplay sessions and the game release! :yes

Thats not a flaw.....they are the pads assigned to this particular player in Cricket Academy! Though I think Ross should ensure that the genuine pads are shown in the screenshots which would be released tomorrow as those would be viewed by people who might not have even heard of the cricket academy, and they might think that BigAnt messed up the pads or something!
