You used to be able to but it isn't exactly logical that someone would have reason to change their DOB (and you'd only do it to lie about your age). PM barmyarmy with your correct DOB and he can fix it for you.

Today, I received my passport in the mail. They got my birthdate wrong. Then I picked up my birth certificate that I had sent in with the application. Turns out my parents have been celebrating my birthday on the wrong day for 16 years. FML

To be honest, this things will not work. Making forums private and forcing users to join or pay money to view content will simply bring the end of the site. These type of this only work in Webmaster forums where people can spend money. Here, 80% of the total users may not be able to pay a single dollar because they are still kids.

I've seen it work on another forum I go on. Something like ?20 a year or ?50 for lifetime, or some such. It works well, then again, there's quite a young demographic here. Not sure it would work here.

That's what I pointed out otherwise the scheme is really great to increase some revenue. I still don't understand that why PC left SoccerGaming's dedicated servers. Though you have to place forced ads but they were offering good and strong servers. The new dedicated server owned by PC isn't that good.

It was shared hosting and it was becoming increasingly unstable and unfit for the size of the site. There were ongoing discussions about upgrades to the servers we used to be on because of this, but ultimately the decision was made to have our own server.

No. Just there are very few reasons to be needing to change your DOB, this is one valid case, and for every valid one there will be 50 of people lying about their age.

There is no rule requiring people tag their reps. There is also no reason to suggest that neg rep was so out of order that it would need to be reversed.

Please do not bring up every neg rep in this thread, we've had a little bit of a discussion on it, but keep any further discussion of rep to just the broader system. Your only form of contact regarding neg reps should be a PM to a global mod/admin. However this should be reserved for circumstances where it was completely unwarranted. A spammy 'FTW!' post is hardly a quality post, and if someone wants to neg rep you for it, that's up to them.

Don't take it seriously and don't complain about reps in public.

He made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was leaving the site, and his manner of doing so has meant that it won't be his choice if he wants to return.

I never took the rep thing seriously but Admin disabled it for me, they didn't even bother a warning or a reason for disabling it.
