Any Improvements?

He made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was leaving the site, and his manner of doing so has meant that it won't be his choice if he wants to return.

How about knowing why members are banned? I dont keep contact with most members here outside PC. I guess it will also give us a reason to keep our noses clean

We won't be keeping a ban list, and in most cases, huge public discussion about their banning doesn't benefit them when they return.

What if we want to enquire why someone is banned? And who to contact if you want to ban someone :p

Apologies for those database errors just now, I think I've got a handle on what the problem was.

We've recently done a slight server upgrade, but this introduced a few new issues, but I think I've got them now.

It would be a great help if you get the database error screen to go to View -> Page Source (that's what it is on Firefox, Tools button and View Source on others I think) and get the exact error message from there and PM or VM it to me. It is in a bit of commented out HTML, which is in green, just copy the lot if you aren't sure. Might need to wrap it in code tags to let you send it (as VB won't let you post HTML).

Also, if it is a while after the event, put the time in as well.

The more info I can get on the server issues the more reliable it can be made.

Alright, will do next time.

I have seen many people post in Cricket 2007 forum like 'great work' and all that sort. But as far as the rules are concerned they say we cannot make such posts and they should be constructive. So,what happens to the people who go on posting such posts?

We've lowered the restrictions on such posts. If you can link to any rules page that mentions that you can't, I'll edit it to make it a bit clearer.

Well ok.I thought we could only post 'constructive' comments. But yeah,if the the work is perfect we need to appreciate that.

Nice!
Will do it next time for sure.

I don't understand why, but when I first registered at this site: I wanted my user name to be Akash but PC didn't allow me telling that it was already chosen. But today, in the birthday's list, I saw this member, akash, and please compare his join date with mine. He joined the site last month and was allowed to take that user name.

We do occasional purges of accounts that have never posted and have not been logged in to for over two years, this probably meant that the original Akash account was removed at some point.

Just saw that "Other Stories Forum" has been made as separate forum. Can i ask why? I guess it was fine in Cricket Games Stories, Strategies & Online Leagues forum.
