I know the server time is one of the US time zones. so its either CST, EST or PST

Yes it does, but it should redirect you to .net using the mobile style. There's an issue with vBSEO and having multiple domains, so the .mobi didn't work when it didn't do the redirect.

Yes.

It should be set as a temporary thing and is otherwise cookie based. So if you are accessing it on a mobile, enter via pc.mobi and it uses the mobile style, back on your computer you will still have your normal style.

It's certainly a clunky approach, but there's a bunch of constraints to deal with.

Yesterday I was thinking about how to stop spam messages. Then I came upon an idea. It is that each post on Planet Cricket (except the Mods and Author's post) shall have a Report Spam icon just like the thanks icon. If someone thinks it is a spam then he'd click on that icon. When 5 members click on that , then the post will be deleted and would be visible to only the person who wrote that post and the mods (ofcourse). That could help a lot in countering spams, I suppose.

For eg. If someone posts "Great thread" on my downloads forum then I'd click the button and 4 more members who think it is a spam would click it and then it would be deleted.That would relieve a lot of work from mods.

How is the idea?

No need of that. There is a "report button" already,if you think any post is a spam click on it and mods will take action against that post.

And BTW, the current system is not helping to reduce spams in anyway. Just have a look at Cricket 07 Forums .
