Just out of interest, who actually owns this forum? Who gets the ad-revenue?

Ste, Colin, Phil (Zim) and Sangam have a quarter share each of ownership. The ad-revenue goes in to paying for the server and other costs, so no one makes any money (any profit just goes in to covering the months when the site is a bit down on visitors and earns less).

Well we aim to make a profit and I certainly wouldn't complain about being paid, but beyond making enough to cover costs it isn't the main objective for the site. If we were in it for the money the site would have died long ago.

The members make the site, good staff help, but without the active memberbase, there's nothing.

Well said mate. If any site will work for money then certainly that site will be closed in few days after it has been created. As far as PC is concern it was been created long ago and we can still say that long way to go.

I've been on the site for quite long now, and seen it grow to reach great heights, and also seen it through the low periods. I must say the staff/admin has done a great job to keep it alive and kicking.
