Any Improvements?

i understood but mad is encouraging people to post "Nice work. KIU" because it encourages patch makers which is against the "download rules's" recommendation
He is just pointing out that as a download maker he finds value in comments like that, even if you don't.

When it comes down to it, if those "Nice work. KIU" posts result in better quality downloads, or otherwise encourage people to keep going, then they are worth it, even if you consider them spam.

If someone is clearly posting those with no relation to what has been posted (like in cases where they go through every thread with the same comment), action can be taken against those members, but in and of themselves, the comments are not spam.

Is this still going on? Who actually cares?????

Some members just care too much about spam. To be honest every forum has a little bit of spam but the mods cannot visit each and every thread and delete the posts which are spam. Why to bother mods so much? If any members is consistently spamming then as I mentioned before just report few of his posts and let the staff members take decision on that member. We need to understand that mod job is not easy. Mods try their best to stop members spamming but they cannot visit each and every thread. So, just simply make sure that a member who is spamming a lot you report his posts and then let staff members take decision on him.

I log in, then click on new posts, and it says I haven't logged in. Just a bit annoying.

Make sure you have the www. at the front of the planetcricket.org domain. If you already have, try clearing out your cookies and clicking remember me.

I am pretty sure he won't if he is logged in via someone else's system. I feel its a problem with the cookies.

@Mani: Clear the cookies and try. I am pretty sure that it'll work out for you. :)

this is very very slow for me, dunno the reason.
Everything else is working fine but this is just not loading.

It stucks after just loading the planetcricket logo, advertisements and links bar or stucks after loading a particular amount posts. any solution.

xxx | xxxx | xxx
ccc|ccc|ccc

Post in between the lines. Or just quote a post where there is a table and see how it has been done.

PHP:
xxx | xxxx | xxx
ccc|ccc|ccc
I might sound like an idiot but, there are some trolls killing the fun here and I really mean it. Wherever I go, there are people with huge egos and all the crap. I thought CD was a good place for a healthy discussion but, it seems that there are just fights there (personal or actual matter) rather than the logical arguments. A bit annoying really.
