This will start from 3rd September after the transfer window closes. I am updating the database as the transfers are made so if any major transfers are made during the next 2-3 weeks they all be added in the database. So, when I start the game it would have all real transfers and all real squad. That will make this more realistic.

Why don't you just downloaded an updated one from fm-base?

I downloaded one from FM Formation some weeks ago and since I have been updating it everyday with as the transfers happen.

I really wouldn't care if we miss out on two or three signings in real life... what are the chance we are even going to notice them in the game anyway?

I just want this to start.

Well they are going to get noticed in the game, because the big signings are going to win you the big games. If I would have started on 1st August there would have been no David Silva, Yaya Toure, Aleksandar Kolarov or Mario Balotelli in Man City and I am sure these 4 players could have made a huge difference in the game.
