Agreed, sometimes I think people actually want a game to be rubbish and fail or concentrate too much on the negative.

Yes I agree this game is not perfect but it is a big step in the right direction.

Didn't come across it and I bowled about 15-20 overs to the AI.

That has to mean it's not in the full game. How were the edges in your playtest?

Almost all the bugs in Demo will be present in the final build.Hope for an early patch from codies.

You don't know that - the demo build could be weeks old!

official playstation magazine review tomorrow

ok so im getting OPM - Official Playstation Magazine, tomorrow, and it got a review of ashes cricket 2009 in it. i only know the score it got from a website and that was 8/10.
so ill edit my first post with the full written review of it.

Yeah thats the comparison I would make, from the demo anyways. It may not be perfect or look the best game ever but it actually begins to "feel" like the game its trying to represent, thats the highest praise we can give I think at the moment, but thats not bad:banana2

Cant wait to see the edit options in the final thing, guess I'm gonna spend the first day just changing names, ah it IS Pes

I'll have it on the 360 so will need to do all that myself

but no biggy, only have to do it once and is all part of the game for me

Good for the PS3 - it wasn't reviewed in PC Gamer this month. Still, I'll have it in a matter of days, so doesn't really matter.

I've just seen the first advert - it's for the Wii version, so it looks bloody awful! Do yourselves a huge favour Codies, and get a PC/PS3/Xbox 360 version on air ASAP, otherwise the less knowledgeable people out there will think all versions look like that!!

Thats like saying COD 4 on Wii is the same on PS3/Xbox 360 yet we all should know thats not true. Listen the Wii is totally different for the PS3/360 graphics wise and gameplay wise. Think of them as two different games because thats how it is going to seem like. Hopefully no one buys this game on the wii though. I think we all have seen how crap it is.
